the word "ART" for the Craft Barn
I really had fun, finding myself again, creating this journal page. The word this fortnight is "art" and I made it for the Q&L challenge at the Craft Barn.
Checking the net for quotes , I found this one too - I thought it was a bit creepy though...;
"Art is to console those who are broken by life" - Vincent van Gogh
I decided to stick to my stamp with the quote "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life" instead...
This page made me happy - trying to stay true to myself and what I believe in... I hope that somebody out there might like it!
Material used:
Stamps from Sodalicious, Glitz, Hema, Hampton art, Aladine and ILS.
Lots of WOW embossing powder, Dylusion ink, Distress stain and some washi tape.
Have a nice week!
Lena
Your page made me happy too with its vibrant colours and contemporary feel. As to the quote, you were right to keep to a more light hearted one. We've got normal life to depress us!
AntwortenLöschenA wonderful page, love the quote.

AntwortenLöschenIts a great quote and I love your art. My favourite mix of colours too - blues and browns!

Beautiful pages and I love the quote you chose! xx
AntwortenLöschenI love your spread and the way you carried the black and white from the tag to the page. I also love those black splats, too. Really great way to showcase that quote.
