Quote by~Sai Baba
Life is a song..sing it
Life is a game..play it
Life is a challenge..meet it
Life is a dream.. realize it
Life is a sacrifice..offer it
Life is love..enjoy it
I found this quote on my friend Gingers blog. Because my daughter is in hospital, having a bad time, bored and waiting to go home, I would like to send these words to her! Get well and strong and don't forget to be good!

Rock and roll for Wednesdaystampers
"Rock and roll":
"1. a style of popular music that derives in part from blues and folk music and is marked by a heavily accented beat and a simple repetitive phrase structure..."
This text is from a "Rock King" collection from DCWV and the embellishments on my card comes from this collection too.
The text on the card is a part of a text from Queens " bohemian rapsody" - on of the best songs ever written I would say.
The blue card is distressed with 3 different colours and the swirls are stamped with white stazon.

Postcard for GA
This weeks theme by Gothic Arches is "postcard", so I choose an old postcard, cut out the image and put it on my arch together with a stamp and different embellishments.
The background is done with distress inks where I used my cuttlebug, cut out swirls and covered the background with them before I coloured it.
Lovely to get started again!

Fashion for wednesdaystampers
In my art journal I allow myself to get a bit crazy sometimes.
This weeks challenge for wednesdaystampers is "fashion" and I sure enjoyed getting crazy with my daughter in the basement watching "Mamma Mia" at the same time.
The background is painted with acrylics and I added some purple shine (LuminArte)to get a sparkly effect ( hard to see on the photo though). The stamps are from stampotique, Jaines basement and a fashion cube I bought somewhere.
I like fashion but I don't follow it. I love all the new colours each year but I always end up buying my stuff from a designer in Sweden - Gudrun Sjôden.
My girls love fashion and I suppose I did so too when I was a teenager...
What else this week?
A lovely meeting in Ikea with Laury55. Even the coffee tastes well in good company!
Now Jaine and I will join the workshops organized by scrapalafraise. I'm SOOO much looking forward to this!
See you...

Fairy for wednesdaystampers
May a fairy look evil or sad?
I used stamps from "Heidi swapp" and "Inkadinkado" and the wings are from "Hot off the press".
I think my fairy looks magic...
