Take a word - RAVEN

Thinking about Edgar Allen Poe's story about the raven, I made this journal spread for take a word .
So many stories about the raven - does it really take your soul when you die?

The background is black gesso with some PanPastel. Stamps from Dylusions, Katzelkraft and Cherry pie art stamps. The face is from Michelle Ward.

Great fun!

"BLOOM"

I 'm really NOT into card making, but today I really enjoyed myself making this "bloom"-card for Kuretake. I can't get myself to fall out of love with old , scruffy papers, so I used them again...

The Kuretake team would like to see some "blooming" and this is the card I made .
I used the ZIG emboss pen, the ZIG Calligraphy metallic colour gold and the water brush pen as I added my PanPastel colours.

Great fun and you know what....??? YES, the sun came back to Luxemburg again and we all DO enjoy it!

Take care out there!

Journal spread for STM.

I just had a week , where grumpy faces led to even grumpier faces. So, listening to Adeles wonderful song "Rolling in the deep" I felt that I could contribute to STM's challenge no 197. I used the words "reap just what you sow" when I made this journal page. Grumpy faces are now behind us and I hope for smiling faces instead! Wish you all the best! Lena

Emilie getting 15

Our lovely daughter Emilie celebrated her 15th birthday this weekend. I made her this weird looking cake. No sugar added and it was really very nice. LCHF even on a birthday! Lena

Add a flower for Panpastel

An ATC for PanPastel, using structure model paste, PP and stamps from "l'encre et l'image". I had a lovely time yesterday making a "9-er sheet". Just adore these bold PP colors! Have fun! Lena

"handwriting" for art journal journey

I made this page just before we went on holidays ( family-come-together in Sweden). I worried alot before we went and this page is about worries - worries in a beautiful and colorful spring. Pink as the cherry tree and blue as the sky. Worries about relations, flight tickets and a lot more...

Susi at art journal journey invited us to join the theme "handwriting".

I really like art journaling. It is very relaxing and you are allowed to do and write whatever you want to do. No rules! Love it!

Go spring!

Easterbunnies at work.

The children at work are still very young, but they love to paint and get messy. They were all so proud of their creations!

An art journal page for "scrapping the music"!

Finally I finished something! Through Laury 55 I found this challenge. You listen to a song and scrap the music.
Details here.
Great fun!

Background ; torn paper stripes, panpastel, black and white gesso.
And because I love my stamps and really miss wednesdaystampers,
I always use stamps on a journal page.
The song to scrap this time is called "the time song" by Matt Urmy. Very charming with a great guitar.

Otherwise...
what happened? Spring...

So, if you want to continue scrapping when the sun is shining, it could be a good idea to bring the stuff outdoors. This is my friend Jaine in my garden. Everything is possible!

Have fun and don't forget to enjoy!
