A birthdaycard for SDC 344.

Most people today have to stay at home. I think it is very hard not to have my usual liberty.
But , on the other hand it is nice to get more crafty time. Saying that, I feel so worried about my loved ones and therefor it is hard to even concentrate on being crafty. As if the spirit doesn`t join in.

I made this card thinking of my daughter stuck in wonderful New Zealand. Everything is closed and they (daughter and boyfriend) are desperate to find a place where they can spend the next couple of weeks until the worst part of the pandemic is over.
She will even celebrate her birthday down there
.
And then I have my parents in beautiful Sweden. Almost the one and only country that HAS NOT shut down schools and social living because they believe in another solution. I DO hope that my parents ( and of course all the other elderly and people at risk) will survive this act.

Anyway  - Stampotique has a new theme again - this time it is all about Birthday.

So this card is for our lovely Emilie in NZ (just somewhere outside Christchurch) , for my mom turning 81 in Sweden and for my father in law in Denmark turning 99 next month.

Stamp used = tree topper.

SDC 343 - Mail art

A late entry to SDC 343 = mail art.

I used using following stamps;

 - vintage bill
 - mervynboy
 - olive rose
 - moon girl
 - calendar square cube
 - ...    and one of my old favorites  - " oh, my god , how did I get this fat?"

A nice day with creative fellows - workshop in Keispelt.

Working with water colors at the latest workshop for Mosaik Scrappers in our lovely "salle polyvalante" in Keispelt.
Jaine had prepared kits for us with water colors, pencils, paper and a canvas. And so the journey began...

After a couple of hours I had this picture in front of me.

For me it is about movement, going somewhere, looking for new sceneries and places.
In Swedish we say that we find a "smultronställe" - a place we love to go to , where you can pick sweet berries in the forest...
And you never know what to expect - like a box of chocolate - you never know what to you get :-)

Back again.

Philippines is a beautiful country. VERY friendly people - it doesn`t matter if rich or poor. Stunning! And the nature - bounty beaches, volcanos, rice fields, coral reefs , whale sharks, turtles… and then the little Mao Meg - the tarsier !
A destination for everyone who enjoys travelling.

And back home - valentines day - as every year.

Wanderlust 2020

Getting into the travel "mood" with this wall hanger.

I bought some lovely Lavinia stamps at the LuxExpo here last Saturday - Silhouette Thistle, Luna Buds and Mushrooms mini.
The text stamps are from Craft sensation and the fish from Gummiapan.

I really enjoyed getting the sewing machine out of the cupboard again!

My december calendar page - SDC 338 - let it snow!

SDC 335 - november

New month - new calendar page!

Stampotique designers Challenge no 335 is all about black and white together with another color. Because of the weather and the colors of the leaves - I chose brown ( or maybe "brownish").

I just LOVE the autumn colors - it is as if the trees show of in flowering - like the flowers in spring and summer time.

I used the stamp Relaxin` , some masks from Studio light , skeleton leaves from Sizzix and distress inks.

SDC 332

Another month, another page...

This September has been warm, but last week we did get some rain :-) .

The forest is filled with different mushrooms - all shapes and colors. Just love the smell of autumn in the early morning.

At work, the new children have arrived and school started here today. Let`s hope that this group of youngsters will get as excited and happy in the forest like the group last year...

Stampotiques latest challenge is about using die or stencil.
I used both so here we go.
