Fabric book a' la Jaine chez" scrap a la fraise".

Grandpa is celebrating his birthday next week so I made him this little fabric book at scrapalafraise last saturday.

I took some old and new pictures of the grandchildren.

I like the effect of black thread on an acrylic background. The sewing is no longer only a seam, but a decoration itself.

Some of the embellishments are from a kit I bought from Caroline that day. I just love her kits. She has got some lovely ideas. It's like christmas to open that bag, because you never know what she put in! I just know that I won't ever get disappointed.

I had to hurry up making the photos, 'cause I had to send the book today. So I'm sorry if some of the pictures are not the best quality!

We used some glimmer mists too. And Belinda showed me some cool techniques aswell. Thank you, Belinda!

The stamps are mainly from Tim Holtz' new collection and I think they fit so well. A very talented man, I must say...

It was Jaine who held the workshop and I think she made a good job. Thank you, dear friend!

  5. Lena I love your book! Jaine and I are cyber friends from Making Mini's and now Scrappy Accents. I am trying to get her to do either a cyber workshop or a CD tutorial. Classes here in Arizona USA are very limited and a bit pricey. Again great job on your book!
