Studio L3
The other day, I had some time for myself and I spent it surfing the net. Suddenly I found the studio L3 where a Linda makes challenges using Tim Holtz' book "a compendium of curiosities".
SOOO because I have that book I thought I would like to have a go.
This week it's about page 55, tinted vision fragments, using the alcohol inks.
Making this journal page, I ended up using TH's embossing folder "collage and notebook set", TH's collection stamps, TH's distress inks, TH's alcohol inks (current, silver, pearl, eggplant and ginger) AND a stampotique stamp.
I used a picture of Frida Kahlo from a magazine and tinted the fragments on different eyes to get a bit of a "groovy" effect... AND of course I had to doodle a bit - just waiting for my new doodle-pen to arrive...
Hope somebody out there likes it!

a midsummernight's dream for WS
...no challenges lately, but therefore new techniques and good will!
I didn't have any cool fairies so I had to create my own for Wednesdaystampers challenge " a midsummernight's dream". The spread is acrylic painted callico and the stamps are all from Stampotique (exept for the disney foam stamp).
Hope you all like it!

GPP 42 crusade
At GPP 42 crusade they would like to see different ideas with paperstrips. I tore paper and fabrics into stripes and glued them onto a background. The idea was to enjoy all the colours , but the combination turned out to be to buisy. SOOO - I painted it all with gesso and suddenly I liked the background - a bit wabbely, but why not? Because I love my stamps I stayed true and used them : "do you ever feel lonely among others...?
Great fun!

Santa and his helpers for Stampotique designers challenge.
At stampotiques designers challenge we are challenged by the theme "christmas" in this summer heat. I made this card using an old photo of grandpa and 2 stampotique stamps. The hats are painted by hand. Background is glimmer mist and the frame is copied fabric in zetti-style. Enjoy this outstanding "Santa" and his helpers!
