Studio L3
The other day, I had some time for myself and I spent it surfing the net. Suddenly I found the studio L3 where a Linda makes challenges using Tim Holtz' book "a compendium of curiosities".
SOOO because I have that book I thought I would like to have a go.
This week it's about page 55, tinted vision fragments, using the alcohol inks.
Making this journal page, I ended up using TH's embossing folder "collage and notebook set", TH's collection stamps, TH's distress inks, TH's alcohol inks (current, silver, pearl, eggplant and ginger) AND a stampotique stamp.
I used a picture of Frida Kahlo from a magazine and tinted the fragments on different eyes to get a bit of a "groovy" effect... AND of course I had to doodle a bit - just waiting for my new doodle-pen to arrive...
Hope somebody out there likes it!

Hi Lena,
AntwortenLöschenWelcome to the Compendium of Curiosities challenge! I'm so happy you're joining in, and you've certainly entered in a grand way! This card is SPECTACULAR! What a gorgeous, unique, and-- yes!-- groovy way to use the tinted fragments. So many perfect little details, and such great colors and texture. WOW! You're wonderfully talented!
Thanks for sharing your lovely art, and I hope you're back again next week!
