Late , but not too late...
Creavils challenge right now is Asia and I just finished this tag to enter.
I used a screen print from Best creation, stamps from Personal impressions and Hampton art stamps, a stamp from Borneo, stickers from "tiny type" Cosmo cricket, some paper from a thai magazine, and of course my beloved PanPastels.
Have a good mid week everybody!

Art journal café MANTRA
Challenge no 1 at Art Journal Café is about "mantra". That little word or quote or sentence that keeps coming up in your head while you're doing something else.
Yesterday that word was TRY. I try to find new colour combinations that I like. I have been in the blue zone for a very long time now...
And I keep trying to use stencils and masks for backgrounds. I ALWAYS spray too much and the whole idea is gone! Can't stop myself...
This background turned out ok though. Not TOO much of anything, I think.
Have fun and enjoy the weather!

Faux stitches for the craftbarn
The Craftbarn is challenging us to use faux stitches/crackle...
I used my sizzix embossing plates to emboss the edges of this card.
The face is a stamped image from "gorjuss" and the dress is "homemade" with stitches doodled onto it.
As I really like Christy Tomlinsons art work, this is my way of trying her style. I really enjoyed making this, but maybe I shouldn't have used so many rubb-ons in the end...?! It's hard to stop when you have fun!
The background is made with acrylics and the dylusion spray inks and stencils.
Otherwise...lace from my grandmother and rubb-ons from Kaisercraft.
Hope you all like it!
Best regards from a hot and sticky Luxemburg!

Brazil, one more time...
After our trip to Brazil, I still had so many photos left and no space in my first mini scrap book. So, I got the idea to take old school stuff and to reuse the material. This is the result. I'm very happy with it. The colours are bright and everything sparkles like the country itself.
I used a lot of background stamps, A LOT of washi tape and a lot of bits and pieces from the journey as well as pieces of paper.
Just love recycling!
Wish you all the best!

Scrapping the music
This is my entry to STM challenge no 198A.
The song is "sparkle" by Rubyhorse.
...how you sparkle, how you shine, how you rise above the sky, and you rise, and you rise...
I used my bright dylusion ink sprays, tippex, stamp from Tim holtz, a masking tape and my sewing machine.
Loved every creative minute!
