Falling in love - again...!
A couple of weeks ago I saw this GORGEOUS mini book here on SODAlicious' blog.
SOOO in the age of 47 I fell in love AGAIN! Couldn't help myself, but had to order all these "weird" papers and as soon I got it , I built my own SODAlicious mini book. The problem now is - what do I do with it?
Too beautiful to write in and I certainly can't glue anything in it either!!!
How come I love these "karta ewidencji, karta przychodow pracownika or kartoteka urlopow" ? I don't understand one single word, but I know I will love this book a long time...
Anybody out there understanding my condition?
I wish you all a beautiful monday evening!

Weight Loss 2013
This is the start of my smash project life - weight loss 2013.
The very lovely and talented Janna Werner started a Flickr group for all of those who would like to join her in loosing weight and scrapping at the same time. I felt that that could be a good start of the new year, so here we go... Maybe it will keep me going instead of just giving up after a while... Anyway, this is my first weekly page - I do this smash/art journal style - the way I like it!
I used stamps from Christy Tomlinson, SODAlicious and Stampotique "(how the heck did I get this fat").
The journal card is from Fancy Pants.
The photos are from the walks I've made with my dear husband this week, finally some sunshine again and the snow is just sooo beautiful!
Have fun out there!

"time" ATC for the artful times
The artful times would like to see some ATC's , with the theme "time".
The background here is from a 9er sheet I made with wrapping papers and old book pages. I coloured it with acrylics and stamped swirls, text and that lovely mini face.
The time stamps are from an old serie of stamps called "about time". Purple rubber stamps - anybody else still has them in their stash?
"My" colours, yes I know.
I wish you all a great sunday afternoon. I will take a walk now - in the frosty rain falling on the cold snow. Ice, ice, ice, all over... I just need air.
Take care out there!

Würfel/cube for Creavil
I haven't joined the Creavil challenges for a long time now. But as I saw the challenge theme "cube", I thought it was so difficult , I had to try...
I used old slide mounts, glued and kept together with masking tape. I gessoed over it, coloured with dylusion inks and stamped words on each side; This dice/cube will now decorate our dinner table every sunday - the idea is that one person rolls the dice and the word he/she "gets" will start a small discussion around the table. We tried it today and we did get some good laughs!!!
So here we are - my contribution to Creavils no 46 challenge cube.
See you soon with another blogpost...

The letter V for the alpha challenge
I was(and still am) happy to have been able to finish the calendar challenge at the craft barn oct-dec 2012. I could not imagine starting another project like that - at least not now.
BUT sunday arrived again and so did an invitation to start craft barn's new challenge ALPHA. Today is the letter V. That V got stuck in my head and the result you see here.
I used the Sizzix sewing room, a dylusion stamp, an old dictionary, thickers, acrylics, a stencil from crafters workshop, some bling and ribbon.
Wish you all a happy start of the new week!

What is art?
You can find a lot of smart and different quotes and sayings about art on the net, like on Pinterest.
For me though, art is, when the brain stops and the soul takes over. When you feel for something without beeing able to say why...
This is my entry to this weeks challenge at Take a word, where the theme is "ART and what it means to you".
I used my favorite stamps from Dina Wakley, Cherry Pie Art stamps, PaperArtsy, Prima Marketing (Donna Downey), Infocrea and Denim.
I wish you all a very, happy friday!

Some embossing for the Artful times
Last autumn, I joined a group of women making calendars for 2013 at "the craft barn". This is my cover for my finished calendar.
I used 3 different embossing folders on my "frame, slide mounts & coin holder" from Sizzix. At the artful times, they ask for embossing folders this week, so this will be my entry to their challenge.
The background is a patterned paper from ILS, called POPS OF 09.
I used a stamp from Ali Edwards, thickers from American crafts and a Midway TIN PIN from October afternoon .
What about the hidden words behind the embossed "frames"? = my wishes for this year!
Wish you all a splendid 2013!!!

who deserves a crown?
...this is my very first blog post this year!!!
...had forgotten how time pass with the house full of children, husband, boyfriends and girlfriends!
...and now we are reorganizing our youngest daughters room - I have the feeling like living in IKEA.
Tomorrow the last trip will be over and everything finished... I hope!
This is my entry to Art Journal Journey, where the theme this month is "crowns". Pls, go and check it out if you like art journaling! Great site!
I went a bit crazy creating the background, with all in all , 7 different masks and stencils. I just couldn't stop myself...(hi, hi...)
The stamps are from Tuscan Rose and Heidi Swapp.
And, PLEASE, don't misunderstand me - I LOVE being a mother, but sometimes it is hard with all those feelings involved. The children grow and they have to find their own ways - it is just hard to let them...(?)
I hope you all had a good start of the new year and that it will continue to be good!
Take care out there!
