Soon it is our turn to try something totally different - we will walk a part of the "Jakobsweg" in Tirol, Austria. We wanted to do something weird as both of us , Jaine and I, turn 50 this year.
Now the backpacks are ready, filled with everything we can carry and we start to get a little bit (just a little bit) nervous... and what happens? The rail strike in Germany stops us from getting to Innsbruck!!!
The question now is if we take the chance and go (or not). Maybe we will get stranded somewhere in Germany and then we will have to make the best out of the situation. Otherwise we can try and go through France and Switzerland...
Who thought life would get this exciting in our age :-)???
