Something nice and festive for Crafty Individuals

Hello again and happy december! This year I tried to make something interesting for the entrance.

I built this tree with  moss and branches and then decorated it with pinecones, christmas ornaments and a little tag stamped with a crafty individual stamp.

I finished the decoration with a stamped calico stripe and some christmas ribbon.

GOD JUL  =  Merry Christmas

I enter the challenge at crafty individuals and I hope that this decoration, using their stamps, will be festive enough for the challenge...

Hope you like it!

Love

a distressed automne tag

My automne tag for Crafty Individuals (theme; automne colours) and Artful Times (theme; feeling distressed).

I used some stencils with modelling paste to get the textured background and then stamped with CI -203. The colours are disressed inks with a lot of gesso to get the right look.

Hope you like it!

the letter B

Hello again!

I've had some busy weeks and no time for ME and my basement...well, to be honest, I HAD the time but I didn't fell like crafting. My husband went to Africa and the first couple of weeks I enjoyed all my "free" time, but after 2 weeks it wasn't funny anymore. I started to miss him! This is, of course, a good sign for our marriage, but I just couldn't get my stamps out...

Yesterday we got the good news that our Lisa, made her year, and now can call herself  "éducatrice diplomee". She has been nervous and grumpy and it has not been the easiest time in life to be with her these couple of weeks. Our youngest daughter still has another 2 weeks of school until we get her results - this weekend she is off to "Rock A Field" - a big out door music event here in Luxemburg - I hope she will be okay...! Our son seems to be happy in Germany and that is nice too..!  ...one should NOT complain!

Anyway - this is my entry to the alpha challenge at the craft barn.

I choose the word "bottle" and used stamps from the swedish company Reprint and from  crafty individuals. I might seem hard - using poison bottles and writing "in vino veritas" but bottles are bottles!!!
I do enjoy my glass of red, but we have to remember, that for many people wine (and other alcohol) really can be like poison...

...and now I'm off to our yearly "promenade gourmande" -the sun is back and we expect 21-24° today - not bad at all!!!

Wish you all a lovely sunday!

A tag for the artful times and creavil.

Creavils challenge no 52 is about "Insekten und Krabbeltiere". I used the gorgeous Crafty Individuals stamps no 033 and the plate 4 - wings.

With this tag , I also join the challenge no 27 at the Artful Times, where the theme is to use stencils and/ or masks. As I'm a big fan of Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, I used the opportunity to play with 4 different of her stencils (mini chevron arrows, mini stripes, mini paint lids and another one without me remembering its name...!).

The colours are all distress inks - sponging through the stencils - love it!

Wish you all a great and sunny weekend!

the letter R for the craft barn - finally!

Busy, busy, busy...busy with all those things called family, work, cooking, education, friends...
I am very happy to be able to say that I have all those things in my life, but my crafty time is suffering after a week with family in Sweden, to catch up at work and, and, and...

BUT, here we are -  I finally finished my art journal page for the craft barn's alpha/dictionary challenge letter R.

Wish you all a nice end of the week!

SPARKLE for crafty individuals.

Sparkle is the word at the crafty individuals this month.

I used a background stamp and the angel stamp from CI and then added modelling paste through a Huey's mask (stars). The colours are all PanPastel.
I'm not sure if it's possible to see, but I did add some Ranger stickles in gold as well as 3 small stars from Kars.

In the end I finished a small tag in the same style and decorated it all with the orange bakers twine.

So, let them stars shine!

Halloween canvas.

I didn't find anything spooky to decorate my house with, so I had to create it myself.
This canvas took a long time to finish as it had to dry between the layers. It might not be the very best creation, but it'll do for now.

I used stamps from CI, Tuscan rose and death by Klimt, the sizzix tree and raven and a lot of black gesso and acrylics. The photo is from a cemetery at Morro de Sao Paolo in Brazil.

I really enjoyed making this - Halloween may come!

So,  this is my entry to Creavils' Halloween challenge.

Nice to try something completely different!
