Shiny tag

This is my entry to wednesdaystampers challenge "shiny" this week.
"Shiny" is not really my thing ,even if I like some "bling, bling" once in a while.
SOO - I took some black paper with silver threads. I added the stamps with silver+ rainbow embossing powder to get more glimmer effect. And because I love recycled things I used the cuttlebug to cut out the dragonfly out of a purple coke-can.
We had many different coke-cans here last summer; purple, green, pink... Another thing that I save and put aside in my basement.

Twinkle twinkle little star

Each year after all the candle lights before, and after christmas, my house seems so cold and dark. I think that january and february are the hardest months to survive in a good mood.
That is why I made my own " twinkle, twinkle, little star..." to cher me up. It has nothing to do with christmas- the shining stars we see tha whole year and they brighten up, not only the sky but also our minds.
I found a piece of grillage in the garage - so I formed it into the shape of a branch.
In the pharmacie I bought banded gypsum , I wired it around the branch and sprayed it with water. When it was all dry I made some hooks out of wire and hung up the small stars , that I had cut out of orange foam rubber.
I finished it all of with a chaine of lightbulbs including 50 lights.
Now we enjoy the shining stars every evening in our living room.
Very easy and decorative!

(P s-because I didn't use any stamps I will not put it onto wednesdaystampers site)
Hope you like it with or without a challenge! Lena

My mind tried in different directions but this is where it finally did end. Getting crazy, dress up, have fun, enjoy and let yourself go.

Heartshapes

Better late than never I suppose...
Everything here is made of heartshapes - even the end of the tail. The lips are a bit like suzi blue's paper dolls, wich I just adore. The stamp doesn't belong to me so I had to be quick there...
Don't know if I should love or hate this one - you decide!

hearts

This was made of an old scrap paper, the colours are pretty hard but on the other side it looks a bit scruffy. I started digging in my drawers and in the end I had a fortune in front of me !
I used some stamps and coloured them with acrylic. The scrabble letters are leftovers and the metallic heart I once found in the store. The brads Jaine bought for me in Wiesbaden where we go once a year to do our big crafty shopping ( last year I had to work so Jaine had to do all the shopping ... thanks good friend ! ) I hope you like it !

everydays kiss kiss

This is my entry to this weeks theme "Kiss Kiss" at Wednesdaystampers. I stamped the letters on calligo ( Sorry Hermine- I copied your idea!), then used an image from an old book to show that kissing is important in our daily life as well. We should always show that we care for each other...
Some nice ribbons to cheer us up and some diecuts from the cuttlebug.
Colours; I chose red because it is said to be the colour of love. Black makes the red pop out nicely and beige is here to soften the dominant colours. Hope you like it!

Tag your arch for Gothic arches

This is my entry to last sundays challenge in Gothic arches. I adore this stamp from paperartsy. I tried to stamp the arch itself with letters but the ultra thick copper embossing powder was too thick. I'm still happy with the result though. The tag is from my sons latest jeans shopping. I chose the colour orange (distress ink) to join the other "earthy" colours. Finally I put an extra mini tag, a mirror, a ribbon and a gothic butterfly to finish my work...
