Grattis i efterskott moster Eivor!

At Ws this week the challenge was Leonardo da Vinci. I don't have a lot of stamps to this theme, in fact the only one i have is the one and only Mona Lisa. So instead of making something totaly new I finished of my journal page called " face it" where I used Mona Lisas face as well.
Hope you like it!

"shabby chic" for Gothic arches
This is my entry for this weeks challenge at Gothic arches. Hope you like my chic lady!
The background is a wine label from a great austalian wine - the ONLY label I was able to get off without ruining it. I think that the guy that puts labels on wine bottles should think more carefully about the glue he uses - I want to recycle them!

Transparencies for "scrap a la fraise"
http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
I 've decided to start an art journal project with " scrap a la fraise" group in France. This project takes on the form of an altered book with fortnightly prompts to give us inspiration.
The above pictures are from the first prompt wich was to use transparencies. I've used acetate which I stamped on to, mesh, gesso and water colour paint, a die cut from clear plastic and glass squares.

My birthmonth is july so I had to make something with a ruby and here you see the result of that challenge...
According to the chinese astrology I am a snake so I took the snake stamp from artemio and stamped it as a background.
Other stamps used ;

Hope you all like it!
I wish you all the very best for this year - healthwise, familywise, funwise, stampwise, creativwise and of course otherwise... the very best in deed!!!
