Christmas wishes

Just wanted to send you all the best wishes for christmas and show you one of my christmas cards this year. The idea is from Dani Rogall and I simply fell in love when I saw her own composition and I had to try myself.

The other card is one that my friend Katherine gave us this year. Katherine loves her cuttlebug and her work is always so neat and perfect - how come I can never work like that...??? ... ... ...

Enjoy!

emilies snow angel

My christmas quilt

finally snow!

We went running this morning and YES it was a bit slippery but at that time we could still DO IT. Going into the village the sign told us that we were running 10 km/h and I was very proud of myself. Now it looks like this:

Love it, love it, love it...!!!

And I assume and hope that tomorrow when I have to go to work the roads will be clear again - if not, I will NOT love it anymore...

Santa and his helpers for wednesdaystampers

Just finished this christmas card to Denmark. Santa is a picture of grandpa many years ago when he still used to dress like Santa who brought the presents to the children ( in Skandinavia the children actually see Santa when he comes...) The helpers are the girlies from stampotique, star is a stamp from laundry line and the text is a christmas stamp from panduro. Hope you all like it!

" scrap a la fraise" workshop with "lilith"

After a stupid week with a lot of stupid things happening, I really enjoyed going to a workshop with "lilith" from "scrap a la fraise" to alter a book. We used almost everything; scraps of fabric, scraps of paper, beads, thread, metall, wire, old hinges, felt.... Loved getting into the scrap feeling again...
My fathers birthday is coming up so I took the opportunity to honour him the whole day yesterday - the result you see here!

MAPS for wednesdaystampers

Background ; alcohol inks and Tim Holtz' stamp como13 (sorry, hard to see the map but it IS there!)
The boys are from a stamp I once bought from crafty individuals without checking the size - it is really tiny!
AND the mapsticker was a gift from dear Katherine, who brought it home from Australia one christmas.
Thanks for looking!

a "journal box" for my mother in law

This is an idea from the scandinavian scrappers Stampartic. I made it for my mother in law for her birthday this coming sunday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY CILI!

Inside the box you have some 220-250 questions about her life.

The person who gets the box takes the questions, one by one, glues them into the little book and answeres them. This can take months but can be a nice thing to do for elderly people who have all the time in the world. And for them it can be a good thing to try to remember aswell. To answer the question " how was your very best christmas?" isn't easy. First you have to try to remember ALL christmases and then chose one and try to describe why it was the best one...

I'm sure Cili will love it!
