The colour red for de Stempelwinkel
I love to work on this linen background - the texture just makes me happy...
This is a card for the latest challenge at de Stempelwinkel where the theme is RED.
I used a Dina Wakley stencil and the 2 stamps from the shop itself ; Kiss ( cherrypieartstamps) and water effects (Ryn).
It all makes me think of that gorgeous song by Christina Perri. Do you remember "jar of hearts"?
Take care out there!

SDC no 182
It was/is all about hearts at SDC this week.
I made my contribution with Dina Wakley acrylics and her heart stencil. The added stamp is (of course) my darling tree hopper from Stampotique.
Valentines day might be over for this year, but remember to cherish our loved ones each day, every year..:-)

February Craft Stamper Challenge
Lately I discovered working on canvas sheets. I found a canvas pad in the UK and fell in love. It is sooo easy to use and I love the texture.
Craft stampers take-it-make-it-challenge for February is all about stencilling.
I used 5 different ones and I let Magda`s lovely Philip do the talking.
Just cant get myself from loving this colour combination!!!

SDC no 181
This week SDC would like to see some work made in citrus colors.
I used my beloved Midge and added her to my funky background. The yellow page is stamped with a stamp made by a friend of mine - Jaine. I think it is called pebbles, but I was in another mood and used it as bubbles instead.
I had fun creating this collage - hope you like it!

a NOT page for AJJ
In the beginning as I started this page I wanted to use the quote " getting no message is also a message" but here we are - I ended up with the quote " NOT able to speak is NOT the same as NOT having anything to say..."
With this journal page I enter the latest challenge at Art Journal Journey. Theme this month is "birds, beasts and humans".
Wishing you all a nice february!

A winterpage for de Stempelwinkel
This fortnight de Stempelwinkel asks for something "wintery".
Here in Luxemburg the winter usually is more wet than cold - except for this year ...
My journal page is made with fusion art stamps, cherrypie art stamps and my very new ones - designed by Ryn - all of them from DeStempelwinkel.
I`m sooo sorry for not being able to make a "scenery" - it just isn`t me.
Hope you like it anyway!
Hugs from a freezing Lux.

Painted background for SDC
Another card for the SDC no 180 with another Stampotique character - this time I used Hunk.
He says :
" I took it off.
I don`t want
to carry it
with me
anymore"...
I would like to be able to do that - take off the burden and stop carrying it with me..
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn`t.
Hugs

SDC no 179 - funny
The latest challenge at Stampotique is about making something funny. When I found this quote on Pinterest I knew it was perfect. I still have to young daughters living at home so I know everything about good or bad hairdays...:-)
" REAL PAIN is having to wash your hair after a good hair day..."
I used 4 different Stampotique stamps here; miss Snottie, Gooseneck, Girl with heart purse AND Magdas lovely Night.
Wish you all a happy week!
