letter L with a twist - a window...

... and here we go again;
This fortnight, the letter at the craft barn is the letter L. I chose the word "lodge" and used an old rubber stamp - maybe "my" lodge is a little bit too fancy and big to be called a lodge, but this is how the page turned out.
The background is made with Neocolor II and distressed inks.

SHE art for AJJ

Hello again!
I had some "me"-time this weekend, I was very happy to be ale to finish this journal page for Art journal journey. She art was the theme. Thinking of THE she art designer - Christy Tomlinson - I thought I had to use stripes, feminin stamps, stencils and rub-ons. And so I did!

a distressed automne tag

My automne tag for Crafty Individuals (theme; automne colours) and Artful Times (theme; feeling distressed).

I used some stencils with modelling paste to get the textured background and then stamped with CI -203. The colours are disressed inks with a lot of gesso to get the right look.

Splatter and stamping for the craft stamper

Finally automne arrived and the trees start to sparkle in yellow, brown and orange.
Inspired by these automne colours, I made this journal page using different splatter techniques and Tim Holtz' alterations "acorn blueprint".
So, this page is my entry to challenge no 5 at Craft stampers.

Just LOVE these stamps! And I do think it is good value too - 3 stamps and 5 dies in one set...

My SODAlicious album - theme Berlin

A couple of months ago, I fell in love with a little mini album from SODAlicious. This weekend , we had a workshop here in Luxemburg - making this mini, using papers and journal cards from Poland. In the kits, I also had a lot of other stuff from SODAlicious, but I had to buy it through Scrapbook Werkstatt, because SODAlicious didn't sell these things anymore. Anyway - a big THANK you to Scrapbook Werkstatt for their quick delivery and of course to SODAlicious too.

My daughter went with her boyfriend to Berlin and they had a great time!

They were stunned by all the different graffiti all over.

I used only SODAlicious and ILS products.

The only colour added - neon orange!

I just LOVE using those "kartotek" cards as a background.

Katherine had prepared some lovely sizzix shapes to go with the theme.

I love this style and it is really very easy to make.

We had a lovely day together - next time the whole group will meet, will be in december for a "cool" christmas decoration - any good ideas?

Hello again!
Finally I'm back to join the challenge again - this time the letter G, and I used the word geometry. Maybe not my favorite class in school, but now I love those shapes.
So this is my journal page for the dictionary challenge at the craft barn.

Art-piaskownica - plush toy

I have to show you this little "bear"(?), my lovely daughter Emilie made for me. She believes it will bring me luck.... So, no artwork from me but instead FOR me; - I join the challenge at art-piaskownica with this little plush toy.

"Less is more" for AJJ

This might seem like a shortcut or a page with little work put into it - but is was NOT. I got this phrase into my head and couldn't get it out. I had the perfect stamp and I started layering the background . Sorry if the photo doesn't show that...
Anyway - this is how I sometimes feel when I have noone to ask for advise and the theme at Art Journal Journey this month is "less is more" .
I used stamps from denimtampon and cherry pie art stamps, gesso, acrylics, puncinella, starpunches and dylusion ink sprays.

Now we will start sanding the floor - no crafty time for me, I believe.

Hello again!

My dictionary didn't have many words starting with Z, but I've had this gorgeous little zombiestamp for ages now, and I felt that it was right to use it. So this is my entry to craftbarns dictionary challenge with the letter Z.
