the whatevers - here called Henry and Mathilda

Nathalie Kalbach and friends invited us all to join their new challenge called the whatevers. This photo was  downloaded from her site and now it was up to me to find a story behind the pic...

...and here we go...

Henry and Mathilda

Brother and sister, living together with their parents in the south of Sweden.

... Tilly (Mathilda) always wanted to have loooong hair like Lucinda ( the most popular girl in class) -  long, blond and curly. Instead she had dull, rat brown, straight hair and her mother always insisted on keeping it straight back in a knot to keep her beautiful eyes free. But then, of course, everybody could see her "outstanding" ears...

Henry hated to sit still like this. The only thing he could think of was if he had closed the barn door or not. He was not allowed to be in the barn without his parents approval , but today he just couldn't stop himself. He had tried to get friends with the one year old fowl a long time now and TODAY he had been able to stay on it's back for at least 30 seconds!!! When he heard his mother calling he got into a hurry and MAYBE, just MAYBE he forgot to close the door... IF he forgot - where would the horse be now...  and what if father finds out that he had taken the fowl out...?

This is my story to go with the picture.

If you would like to join this creative storytelling, you can find the details here.

Great fun!
