A collage (with a cow from Zillertal, Austria)

Soo tired of fake news  - not beeing able to belive in what I thought would be facts. 

What happend to morality and reability?

I made this collage thinking of our friend ,Günther, who sadly passed away yesterday. He was one of the first persons in Vienna who made me feel at home when I moved there 31(!!!) years ago. A good man.

A man to remember with a smile in our eyes. The cow is from Zillertal in Austria and I think he would have a smile in his eyes if he could see it.

An energy giver

Looking back - sooo many things happened in 2025 .

I feel lucky to have met Catrin Jacksties - she was our guide on our trip to Canada. 

She loves nature and colors , so this card is for her. A very special person with a strong connection to earth, water, trees and all in all NATURE. 

She would get energy by hugging a tree or watching the ocean. I can follow her way of thinking and "feeling" because I can feel this too. 

So here we are, just some days before Christmas and I feel grateful.

Hannas DIY Postcard Swap Autumn 2026

 Some years ago I joined  iHannas postcardswap and this year I decided to do so once again.

 

My postcards are ready to be sent and I hope someone will be happy to recieve one. 

It is nice to get an oldfashioned postcard in the letterbox...

I had fun making them and now I`m looking forward to get 10 handmade postcards in MY letterbox!

A collage - today as a grandmother!

Still so pale and far away - our important sun is gathering strength and coming towards us.

I `m longing for a nice tea outside , letting the sun "lick" my face , giving me power and vitamin D.

The origami fox :) with a beautiful background!

 I made this card using the most beautiful background stamp EVER - morrocan tiles from Birgit Koopsen.

I embossed it black and then added another background stamp called "textures in my journal" ( by Zorrottes) which I embossed white..

I found an "oldie" in my stash - the autumn grunge leaf by Susan Weckesser and the last stamp used is the "renard origami" from Carabelle Studio.

This week at Simon says stamp the challenge is to use background stamps , so here we go!

We need light and happiness. We need signs of spring and sleepthrough nights. We need hope and kindness.

Please be gentle - please be kind!

This is my 3rd page (out of 4) where the background is a collage and the focus is a stamped image.

Here I`ve used Mela (Stampotique) , Funky Ducks (Carabelle studio) and Rainbow is my favorite color (Carabelle studio). 

I love using "old" scrap pieces - here I even found paper from SODAlicious ! LONG way back!

 Reading Magnus Fridhs book about calmness I started filling this page with "the essence" of his words.

We need to have faith!

 Another page (no 2 out of 4) where I have used painted elements in a collage. I love to put it all together and use my sewingmachine to finish it of.

This one is called "have faith" because we all need to have faith in something;

It could be having faith in God, in your body, recovery, friendship, succes, good times coming... anything!
