A collage (with a cow from Zillertal, Austria)

Soo tired of fake news  - not beeing able to belive in what I thought would be facts. 

What happend to morality and reability?

I made this collage thinking of our friend ,Günther, who sadly passed away yesterday. He was one of the first persons in Vienna who made me feel at home when I moved there 31(!!!) years ago. A good man.

A man to remember with a smile in our eyes. The cow is from Zillertal in Austria and I think he would have a smile in his eyes if he could see it.

 The "weak" colours are turning stronger as spring is stepping forward.

Why do we always look for the BIG things when it is so much more important to find beauty in small things?

Do we really have to impress somebody when we try to express ourselves?

This is a small collage, put together with small things  - things like stamps, dies, colors...

For me , kind of getting back to basic with the colours. Still love this combination -old paper, red and black.😊

...and look what I found - the VERY BEST stamp ever  "I WAS HERE"! Do you still remember that polish company making the groviest stamps, papers and stencils ? Sodalicious. Sad that the company doesn`t exist anymore...

I `m longing for a nice tea outside , letting the sun "lick" my face , giving me power and vitamin D.

a collage for 2025

This is my take on a collage . I started tearing magazines into pieces and sorting them by colour. 

Now, one can barely see the pieces as I covered most of them with colour!

Hmmm...

Anyway, this was fun.

Tomorrow is another day - let's see what it brings😊.

a layered tag

 ...couldn`t stop myself .

My crafty friend Katherine told me that she had made a card including 6 words for a paper challenge called time-out. There I was - inspired and I had loads of time!

I made this layered tag using stamps, tags, old scraps, washitapes and some stiching as well.

SO - I used the words " layer - heart - stich - food".

I had fun!

(have you tried the pears with a red touch? - delicious, I promise!)

 So, the year is coming to an end. 

Christmas day is a quiet day in our house. We relax and think about the busy day we had yesterday with the family at home. 

Everybody seemed happy with the gifts presented. 

The food was good and we had some lovely family news as well.

All in all a nice good bye to 2024 and positive thoughts for 2025.

I will spend the coming days sorting out old "stuff" and probably throwing away parts I don`t use or need anymore . 

I don`t like the long and dark January - I prepare myself now with loads of crafty things to draw, paint, glue, sew... maybe a nice collage or sashiko or watercolors with Selvtid.dk ... 

We will see what the future brings!

4.Advent - another card on it's way🙂

 Almost the same scenery;

A watercolor backround, a piece of gelliprint backing and transparency film. 

Hold together with a black seam and small stripes of fabric.

Decorated with posca dots and the main focus is the dog with a little  hat.

Just makes me happy.

having fun with stencils...

 In Luxemburg it has been raining a VERY long time now. I don`t mind the rain,

 but ONLY rain for SO long ...(?)

I made this tag using Birgit Koopsens stencil " for the love of layers" with Versafine clair "shady lane" and "rain forest".

At Simon Says Stamp the latest challenge is all about having FUN WITH STENCILS , so this is my contribution.

Let`s hope for some sunshine this weekend - it would make me VERY happy!!!

Gummiapan dies and stamps :)

A couple of years ago I met Gummiapan (rubbermonkey) at a trade fair in Germany. I like the quirky style.

Now I have been told that they make advent calendar loaded with dies - how cool is that ?

Of course I had to find my "old" box and put a card together.

Autumn will arrive pretty soon with its wonderful colours and loads of goodies to find in the forest.

So here we go - a card made with products from Gummiapan and with this card I join the wednesdaychallenge at Simon says stamp.

But all the rest have tree days more,

excepting January, wich has six thousand one hundred and eighty-four.

This spread is about all these wonderful things to expect and look forward to, once January has passed.

More colours, a brighter sun .... all these "things" waiting for their time to shine.

I `ve used acrylics , posca-pens,  templates (Kate crane and Birgit Koopsen) from Carabelle Studio , a lovely stamp from Gummiapan and different die-cuts from Elisabeth Craft Design.
