Lebewesen für AJJ
Another journal page : This time for the September theme at Art Journal Journey .
Lebewesen = living beings
I used a lot of stamps ( reprint, tuscan rose, hero art, prima), some washi tape and acrylics with gesso.
My husband is a true birdlover - he will like this one :-)
Take care out there!

the word SILENCE , this time for Craft Barn
This spread is my entry for the Craft Barn`s Q&L Challenge which is Dazzle and/or Silence.
I used the lyrics from "Enjoy the silence" by Depeche Mode.
The whole spread is VERY much inspired by Dina Wakley - I feel that I need those colours right now - to warm me up in this cold and wet time of the year.
Stamps used; Stampotique, Zettiology, Hero art.
Wish you all a nice week!

the letter T without a twist...
The craft barn just came up with the letter T for their alpha dictionary challenge.
I used a gelli plate background and went with the number TWO.
Hope you like it!

The letter Y for the craft barn.
Time pass.
Right now the wheels turn pretty fast in my/our life;
We didn't have any warm water for almost a week, my basement was occupied by workers . Our youngest daughter had like a crisis - it isn't easy beeing 16 years old, beautiful and still don't believe in yourself. I remember that that time in my life was a very difficult time aswell - I wanted to be the perfect familygirl, the best student, the coolest best friend and at the same time having doubts about life.
So this blogpost is about who YOU are...
This is my entry to the alpha dictionary challenge at the craft barn where we should use the letter Y.... ( and one girl has got yellow hair - the twist for this challenge).
I'm lucky to have a very creative friend (Jaine) , who is a design team member for different companies ( like sizzix, Sarah Hurley, ASOI...). Last week she had her own stamps made and I was allowed to try them out. Here, on this journal page, her stamp is the girl with an attitude, dressed like one did in the 80th. Other stamps used are from PaperArtsy, Sarah Hurley, ILS and Hero Art. If you want to check out whatever else Jaine's doing, pls visit her blog here.
Wish you all a nice week!

My HOME page for AJJ
Right now it is difficult to find crafty time in my life, but I am VERY happy to have been able to finish this art journal page for Art Journal Journey, this month with the theme HOME.
This is how I would like our children to remember their home - a lot of love, all inclusive, a big welcome each time they open the door, people coming and going, acceptance, some great memories and good laughs...
Happy to join the challenge!

a cover for Art Journal Journey
This is my entry to Susi's Art Journal Journey.
This is the front page and the back is still not totally dry.
I used stamps from Reprint, Hero art and Paperartsy.
I call it "the whatevers" because here is where I will store my monthly pages for Nathalie Kalbach's creative storytelling called the whatevers.
Love this color combo!
Great fun on a hot and sticky day in Lux!
(my basement was nice and cool...)

If I had the power...!
If I had the power... I would change a lot!
You know, like peace on earth, food for everybody, save the rainforset ...
But, right now, if I had the power, my first wish would be for our daughter who has diabetes type 1.
I would wish for her to get free or at least to be able to feel the hypos again. I believe that it must be horrible not to be able to trust ones body...
She is having a hard time now and my first POWER would be used on her!!!
I made my own silouette, stamped with a Hero art stamp and one from Sodalicious.
This is my entry to ART JOURNAL CAFE.
I wish you all some great power and sunny days!

My BIG dream for WS
Hello again and happy 2011!
This is my contribution to wednesdaystampers theme "dream big".
My big dream this january is to get smaller instead of big. After a week of healthy food, I can already feel a difference, so now it's quit easy to continue.
My page should show how heavy I feel compared to others
.
I used stamps from hero art, stampers anonymous, hampton art and stampotique.
The background is made with cake paper and acrylics.
Hope you all like it!
