Mothers day in Sweden

 Another collage in my Amy Tangerine booklet - today honoring Motherhood.

I had a lovely visitor in my craft room - my cousin from Sweden. She fell in love with the gelli plate and of course she had a go.

Today is our last day here for a while. We will go and help my mother. She is almost blind and since covid she is alone in her house. Now it`s time for me to step in and help where I can.

So, we`ll be back in July and til then I will not be able to post anything here.

Remembering this moment.

 Autumn -23 we made a road/train/flight trip with World Insight. The first time with our ADULT girls .

It turned out to be the best trip ever - at least for me. To enjoy them so close, for so long and so very intense... and really discover things - new to all of us - together.

Life goes on - so many nice moments to enjoy.

I will always remember this moment with Lisa drinking vietnamese coffee on this beautiful view point at Hai Wan Pass heading down to Hoi An.

If you EVER get the opportunuty to see, feel and experience Vietnam, please don`t hesitate.

The best destination and food EVER!!!

Sending peace to a land still struggling with differenties between  the north and the south!

having fun with stencils...

 In Luxemburg it has been raining a VERY long time now. I don`t mind the rain,

 but ONLY rain for SO long ...(?)

I made this tag using Birgit Koopsens stencil " for the love of layers" with Versafine clair "shady lane" and "rain forest".

At Simon Says Stamp the latest challenge is all about having FUN WITH STENCILS , so this is my contribution.

Let`s hope for some sunshine this weekend - it would make me VERY happy!!!

A tag for Valentines day using stamps from l` encre et l`ìmage . The theme is  "have a heart" at Simon Says Stamp .

I`m longing for springtime. Let`s hope it`s just around the corner...

sparkle and shine #enjoy the moment

 

At Simon Says Stamp this monday the theme is sparkle and shine. I`m in  the mood for coloring, stamping and cutting out images , so this is my tag for that challenge.

Sparkly flowers, dragonfly, caterpillar and even the eyes of the art doll.

It made me think of the quote;

" accept both compliments and criticism - it takes both sun and rain for a flower to grow"

 A tag for my dear daughter in law turning 31.

Here I have used Daniel Torrentes Muffin, Manuelas " libre expression" les poupettes  and the lovely plants from catsonappletrees .

They are sooo cute - these stamps from catsonappletrees . This tag is a gelliprint made with Jaines pebble - stencil and acrylics. 

The stamp is simply called Pflanze 15.

 A seaside tag for the latest challenge at Stampotique SDC 374 "sea & beach". 

It turned out to be a collage of different Stampotique stamps .

A tag for the love of COFFEE wowembossingpowder

 

Just a little tag with coffeestains embossed with WOW bright white and a black hashtag. The fluff in the coffee is seafoam white. The stamps are all from the german company papierprojekt ( called momentstempel PPS016 - delicious).

To finish it off I added a little ginko leaf. Just love that shape!

My love tag for the latest SDC challenge - now SDC 366.

I used the beloved Stampotique stamps;

 -  Daniel`s hearts

 -  Angel squared by Kate Crane

 - and finally the little heart from Daniel`s Tree Topper

The background is made with distress inks and a gelli plate.

 Well, well well... what happened here?

Autumn tag

 

 

Inspired by the colours of autumn, Still brownish/red and not yellow. 

The rain came to dear Luxemburg and covered us total humidity. It has been raining the last 10 days and I did NOT believe I would say so BUT it is almost depressing! After this summer when we once again was longing for rain and shade I swore I would enjoy every rainy day coming up...

Anyway - the nature is happy! 

And I have my poncho, my HH trousers and my beloved wellies....it`s just so DARK!

I made this tag thinking of the blue, crispy days in between the rain. We are just in the beginning of October - I`m sure they will come.

"Höst" = Autumn in swedish.

This fortnight Stampotique `s latest theme is "girls". 

I made this quit simlpe tag using die cuts from Sizzix and Amy design, a gelli plate background, A LOT OF embossing powder, the stamps "girlfriends" by Janet Klein and "squares background" by Terri Richardson AND some watercolors. ..
