Hello world - back again!

This week Stampotique Designers Challenge would like to see inchies. I used Eric , Heart boy and Philippe. The inchies are cut out like windows in the sheet I prepared earlier.

Celebration for SDC 277

Using the stamps Jeepers ,  candle , two sticks and the background French Journal Page, I made this little celebration card for the latest challenge over at Stampotique (SDC).

Summer and sunshine for Simon says Stamp

 This week the Wednesday challenge at Simon says stamp is all about summer and sunshine.

Making this card , I used a designer die from Echo Park paper co. and the sunburst stencil from Tim Holtz.

Luxemburg is waiting for another thunderstorm. Hot and sticky!

I used papers from Echo park, a stamp from Kesi art , some washi tape and a die from technique tuesday.

Long time, no time for fun in my "scrap office". But today - here I am - listening to Amy Winehouse, Christina Perry and Moulin Rouge...  So singing along and scrapping at the same time , I had a lovely Sunday afternoon inside.

A Journal page

A life with ups and downs. Borderline Syndrom makes the peaks higher and the valleys lower. And we all just wish her the best, without understanding how that little mind of her works...

Happy Holidays!

A couple of weeks ago Mosaikscrappers had a workshop where we were taught how to make lovely backgrounds using stencils and distress inks.

This is one of the cards I made, decorated with Tim Holtz` lovely snowman.

I wish that next year, I will be able to spend more time in my "home office", getting my fingers inky, feeling the happiness of creativity and getting my blog back to life again.
I will make a "to do"-list for all the things I did n`t find time to do in 2016 and REALLY try to MAKE TIME for these "things" in 2017.

We celebrated Christmas eve with parts of the family , all of us a bit nervous because it would be the first time without Oliver. But all in all I think we did a good job. It was a nice evening and we all felt relaxed together..

I wish you all happy holidays! Don`t forget to enjoy the time you have together with people you love!

a weekend travel journal

Last weekend my husband took me to the belgium coast - just like that - for no reason.
We had a lovely time, spending hours on the beach in the frosty sun.
Our favorite restaurant in Blankenberge is called STARCKX and of course our meal there was excellent as always.
When we go there, we go by train. It is a nice way to travel through Belgium. - no stress and lots of time to talk, read or be crafty.
On the way back I put this little journal together while my husband read his book. I even finished it !

I used many of my "old" stamps ( still favorites ) and in the end I was pleased with the outcome.

Wish you all a nice end of October with a lot of sun, orange leaves and a hot pumpkin soup!

Explore the world for SSS

Using the Let s go - die from Technique Tuesday and the "old " and still beautiful Filmstrip from Tim Holtz , I finished this cover for my new Travel Journal.

The theme this week at Simon says stamp is about exploring the world, so it was perfect to finish the front cover.

In only a couple of weeks time we will start the journey to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands - exciting!!!

The size of the journal will be +- 21 x 14 cm - must be the perfect size for a travel journal (?)!

Nice to be back again!
