 A book mark for the monday challenge A book mark/getting inspired by a book at Simon Says Stamp. 

For me , kind of getting back to basic with the colours. Still love this combination -old paper, red and black.😊

...and look what I found - the VERY BEST stamp ever  "I WAS HERE"! Do you still remember that polish company making the groviest stamps, papers and stencils ? Sodalicious. Sad that the company doesn`t exist anymore...

Another challenge at Simon say stamp - this time about using patterned paper.
I used papers from Echo park, a stamp from Kesi art , some washi tape and a die from technique tuesday.

a summer page in my art journal

Last week I was asked to join a fb group for art journaling. This is my first entry to the theme "summer". I made a collage and added some flower stamps from Artemio and Toga (les tampons crystal) together with die cuts from Sizzix (alphabetical sizzlits decorative strip)and Kesi art ( set dandelions).
Colours - dylusion ink sprays and distress inks.

another mini scrapbook - summer

Using a SODAlicious journal booklet as a base, I prepared the pages before the BIG "getaway".

As long as we were still at home, I could stamp and fill the pages.

While we were away, I used tickets and other ephemera to fill the backgrounds and later adding the photos.

Washi tape is a very good thing to bring on holidays!

I also used cutouts and journal tags from Sarah Hurley.

I love this little book - it was very easy to bring and because it was well prepared, it was easy to fill aswell. A very nice memory and a very good way of using all these gorgeous tickets and information from the actual trip!

Take care out there and don't forget to drink - very important in this heat!

Color your world, été 2012.

Surfing the net I found this blog called color your world. I really liked what I saw , so here we go again...

"Pour faire une page avec;
 - du livre
 - du gesso
 - de la peinture
 - des encres
   et du tissu..."

The scrap paper is from Basic, the guirlande is made of different book pages, covered with tissue paper and painted with different colors, I used my stamps from Kesi art, added some blue bakers twine and some tissue tape and ended it all with orange ink splatter.

Go and check that blog - they really have some outstanding examples!!

Waiting for the next thunderstorm to arrive... hot and sticky in our little country again .

Mermaid for Creavil.

This is my entry to Creavils challengeblog, where the theme this time is mermaids. Quit hard as I didn't have any mermaid stamp, but I made my own out of stamps from "de stempelwinkel" and "cherry pie art stamps". The "tail" is made out of home made paper with stamps from "kesi art" and "stampotique". The background is neocolours 2.
