a layered tag

 ...couldn`t stop myself .

My crafty friend Katherine told me that she had made a card including 6 words for a paper challenge called time-out. There I was - inspired and I had loads of time!

I made this layered tag using stamps, tags, old scraps, washitapes and some stiching as well.

SO - I used the words " layer - heart - stich - food".

I had fun!

(have you tried the pears with a red touch? - delicious, I promise!)

Aquarell with Selvtid.dk

 Selvtid is a danish company offering 4 videos/ month , sharing their way of painting with watercolours, stabilos, goaches etc. Very easy and comforting. No stress. I can watch whenever I want to , I can print the instructions and even the "omrids".

This one I finished yesterday. Sooo many "mistakes" made but I like it anyway - reminds me of winter in Sweden when we made our own skiing trails through the forest. The sun was so low and we knew we had to return pretty fast to avoid getting lost in the dark.

...and about turning a nice event into an emotional chaos.

Now we have experienced this 2 years in a row. Life is like a rollercoaster and at the same time like a box if chocolate - you never know what you get.

We "just" have to deal with it and try to get the best out of the situation.

Call me a drama queen - this is my way of getting my mind clear again.

Let us be joyful and hope that 2025 will bring us something to laugh about!

...and the very last one this year😊

 So, the year is coming to an end. 

Christmas day is a quiet day in our house. We relax and think about the busy day we had yesterday with the family at home. 

Everybody seemed happy with the gifts presented. 

The food was good and we had some lovely family news as well.

All in all a nice good bye to 2024 and positive thoughts for 2025.

I will spend the coming days sorting out old "stuff" and probably throwing away parts I don`t use or need anymore . 

I don`t like the long and dark January - I prepare myself now with loads of crafty things to draw, paint, glue, sew... maybe a nice collage or sashiko or watercolors with Selvtid.dk ... 

We will see what the future brings!

 Almost the same scenery;

A watercolor backround, a piece of gelliprint backing and transparency film. 

Hold together with a black seam and small stripes of fabric.

Decorated with posca dots and the main focus is the dog with a little  hat.

Just makes me happy.

Autumn tribute

 I simply love the autumn.

I love the smell, the colours, the foggy mornings, the wind, the humidity and yes - I love the rain too.

Autumn is a reminder that even though it might be hard to let go - we simply have to do so to make space for new and wild adventures coming up.
